Disable the Anti-Theft Reminder

  1. Open the main program window of your Windows ESET product.

  2. In the Anti-Theft is available notification, click Do not remind me again. To enable Anti-Theft anytime, click Setup → Security tools → Anti-Theft. 

Disable Anti-Theft protection

Anti-Theft should be enabled on portable devices

Anti-Theft is designed to protect any sensitive data stored on your computer and helps you locate your computer if it is lost or stolen. This feature is intended for laptops or other mobile devices at risk of theft or loss during routine travel. 

We recommend that you keep Anti-Theft protection enabled on mobile devices.

  1. Open the main program window of your Windows ESET product.

  2. Click Setup → Security tools.

  1. Click the toggle next to Anti-Theft to disable it.

  1. Click Disable and remove when the information message is displayed.

  1. Type your ESET HOME Email address and Password, and click Disable.

  1. Click Close. Anti-Theft has been successfully disabled.
