Upgrade to the latest version
Many of the issues you might be experiencing with your ESET product have been resolved in the latest version. We highly recommend that you upgrade to the latest version:

- Open ESET Smart Security or ESET NOD32 Antivirus.How do I open my ESET product?
- Press theF5key on your keyboard to display the Advanced setup window.
- ExpandWeb and email, clickProtocol filteringand selectApplications marked as web browsers and email clients.

- ExpandProtocol filtering→Web and email clientsand clickExcluded applications. Make sure that only the applications you want to exclude from Protocol filtering are selected. Typically, only web browsers and email clients (iexplore.exe, firefox.exe, outlook.exe, etc.) need to be selected.
