Open ESET.
Select ‘Setup’.
Select ‘Advanced Setup’.
Select ‘Web and Mail’.
Under Protocol Filtering, select ‘Edit’ next to Excluded applications.
Select ‘Add’.
Select ‘…’
Windows Explorer will open, search for application you wish to add by using the navigation bar or Local Disk (C Dive).
Select files with type as ‘Application’ and select open (WinRAR used as an example).
If there is more than one application, please add each one individually.
Once added, select ‘Ok’.
Select ‘Ok’ to save the updates.
Windows prompt will be shown, select ‘Yes’.
Check to see if application is working as normal.
If you are still experiencing issues with opening the application please add the application to
Personal Firewall > Application Modification Detection > List of applications excluded from checking
Select ‘Edit' and follow the same procedure as above.
