Hi,

Please refer to the details below regarding the ECOS status. The information provided has been supplied directly by the ESET team for reference and clarification.

  1. Live Guard “Scan not needed”

The scanner decided that it is not necessary to send the file to Live Guard, as it is already confident about the local result.

  1. Rescan functionality

In case of an error, the system performs automatic rescan attempts. The “Error” status is shown when these attempts are not successful. The scan log details should provide more specific information about what happened.

The “Not scanned” status may occur if the item was no longer available at the time of scanning (for example, it was deleted or moved), or if the scan size limit was exceeded.

3.Analysis rejected

This status may occur if LiveGuard is temporarily overloaded or if the file has already been analyzed. We are actively working on improvements to reduce these cases.
